I’ve often thought of surrender as a complete breaking down, as a release of self to the moment. Like a “dark night of the soul” response to pain and chaos and the giving up of self to spirit.
At some point in our journey, we are often brought to what we think is a place of utter surrender. And it is surrender. . . no doubt.
What we don’t know at the time is that there will be a deeper surrender further down the road. One that in it’s aftermath – rather than leaving us broken – leaves us completely, totally, absolutely calm and fulfilled.
Regardless of what is happening around us. Regardless of the outer chaos. A surrender that erases the inner chaos.
A surrender so magical, so fulfilling that NOTHING. . .
NOTHING. . . can shake you.
Beyond surrender. . .
Beyond faith. . .
Beyond all. . .
There is no fear here.
Only Truth.
And Love.
And here is where your TRUE POWER lies.
It is from THIS space of surrender – which has nothing to do with loss – that we are formed in the fire of creation and desire. It is here that we see with only eyes of love and truth. It is here that we are truly open and free.
Surrender is not so much about breaking down. It is more about acceptance. Acceptance that we ARE one with spirit. Always. That there is no giving ourselves up to spirit or trust. It is not about deliverance.
It is about wonder.
It is about joy.
It is about peace.
Peace within your soul. Knowing that no matter what is happening, no matter what is swirling around you, you ARE safe. Protected. Whole. And infinitely loved.
Knowing that you ARE Divine. Powerful. Magical.
It is about KNOWING from so deeply within that no matter what is going on in our world, our connection to god never fails.
Surrender is about coming ALIVE to your Soul. It is about coming alive to truth. Coming alive to love. Knowing it so deeply, it radiates from you and lights up the whole fucking world.
Surrender is the embodiment that love is truly the only answer. ♥
